We use these to label cases in our police department and like the name brand better than generic, which are flimsy and translucent compared to the Brother brand. We have tried generic and they are thin and the backing doesn't peel off well which can be frustrating and a real pain!  My only drawback to these is that we go through hundreds of cartridges a year and while I save money at PtouchDirect.com, I wish you could lower the price even more for those of us who use them on yearly basis.
