TZe tapes will not work in your TX printer. They come in the same sizes and colors as TX, but the cassette is a different shape. Choose a new label maker in Step 1 first, then use this chart to order the TZe tape that matches the labels you're used to.

Is Brother still making TX tape?

Will TZe tape work in my TX printer?
No. TZe cassettes are a different size and won't fit TX printers. To use TZe tape, you'll need a newer P-touch label maker like the ones in Step 1.
How do I find the TZe version of my TX tape?
Use the chart above. TZe part numbers use the same color and size codes as TX, so TX2311 becomes TZe-231 and TX1511 becomes TZe-151.

Yes. TZe tapes are laminated like TX, so they resist water, oil, chemicals, abrasion and UV fading, indoors or out.
