How do you Ptouch? The Blooming Edition

Posted by Ivy Grover on 02/28/2020

Happy Friday! I hope wherever you are reading this - it is getting warmer and brighter! Slowly (very slowly) but surely Spring is on the way. Here in Maine the winters can be dark and cold so I thought this blog was just what we needed for a little bloom of cheer.

Today I am showing you a fun collaboration I got to do with Bangor Floral, located in of course, Bangor, Maine! If you are ever in the area and are looking for some colorful cheer I highly suggest giving my new friends at Bangor Floral a visit! The owner Joseph so was incredibly kind and willing to let me do anything for this blog post - he even offered me some donuts during this process.

From the first moment you step into this flower shop you are surrounded by the most delightful fragrances and vibrant colors from every direction. I have always said I love my job but I now envy florists everywhere.

Just like with any business, labels can be useful anywhere! Joseph explained the day-to-day operations, showed me his storage closets, the main office, and the most beautiful flower cooler. From here I was able to see where these Brother Ptouch labels could be the most useful. I thought the closet holding their details/props for bouquets, the main office with their deliveries and billing cubbies, and their flower cooler would be a great place for our label tape.

Regardless of what you had in mind for your flower order, they clearly have you covered! This closet featured everything from pearl strings, butterflies, cardinals, lace, to key tools like clips, ties, and pins.
I thought a classic 3/4" (18mm) black on clear laminated Ptouch tape would be the best for this project. I love a clean label, especially for organization that really just pops! Click the photos below to shop these classic labels.

Don't mind the spelling - its floral short hand :)

When you think about a flower shop you might not think about the paperwork involved, but you would be surprised! They had a great system created for deliveries, messages, customers that needed to be contacted, billing, and more. I used a classic Black on white TZe/LMe 1/2" (12mm) laminated label tape to label the cubbies by the day off the week and town. Click any of the photos below to shop these great labels!

This way by far the most beautiful blog I have had the privilege to do! Thank you again to Bangor Floral for letting Ptouchdirect.com come for a visit and letting us label everything we wanted!

Until Next Time,

Your Friends at Ptouchdirect.com
