A dash of pumpkin spice and how to keep your kitchen looking nice

Posted by Ivy Lewis on 10/20/2017

Happy Friday! The leaves are turning, the air is cooling, and Fall is officially here. This week we’ll be sharing  our favorite pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe, some great ways to keep your kitchen organized, a DIY Fall decor idea using TZe labels, and a featured customer photo.

One of my favorite parts of Fall is hands down the food. Between the cinnamon flavors, fresh apples, and of course pumpkin spice you can't go wrong. To help you get into the fall spirit and make your kitchen smell G O O D we are sharing with you the best cookie recipe. These cookies taste great, are easy to make, and are egg free! That's right you can eat all the cookie dough your heart desires.

Suzanne's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

What you need:

  • 1 16oz can of pumpkin ("one pie" pumpkin is recommended)
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a large bowl combine your dry ingredients (I recommend using a sifter if you have one on hand). Once combined, add in the wet ingredients mixing together completely. Next, fold the chocolate chips into the mixture. Once everything is combined, place well rounded spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet about 1-2 inches apart. Place your cookies into a preheated 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.

Easy kitchen organization
While you're enjoying your cookies, it's a great time to get your kitchen organized. The TZe labels are dishwasher safe, can be heated up to 356 degrees, and come in a variety of sizes and colors to match any kitchen.

Featured here are the TZe135 labels. These are 1/2 inch wide with white print on a clear background. These labels are the perfect way to stay organized and discreet. Organizing your commonly used spices taken only minutes and creates a clean and organized cooking environment for everyone to enjoy.

Get crafty this fall
Labels don't have to be only about organization. It's easy to forget you have a machine that can create personalized messages that have the ability to stick on just about anything!  There are SO many things you can do with just a push of a button. This week we're featuring a fun fall decoration idea that is easy to do but also cute to have around the house. I used the 1/2 inch black on white TZe231 label to create a fun message that is easy for everyone to leave. Another fun idea would be replace the pumpkins with candy, yum! :)

This featured photo was sent to us from our customer, Len, and we love it!
Len said "I use the tape to label fishing reels so it’s easy to tell what line I’m using. Works great."

The label featured here is the 1/4 inch white on black TZe315 label.
